I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. I first tried the dating apps back in 2008, and I had absolutely no luck. I struggled to get traction and had no idea what I was doing wrong.
It was only after embarking on a career in copywriting and marketing a few years later that I had an epiphany: a dating profile is essentially an ad! Once I started using the marketing knowledge I had acquired at work, my results with online dating got WAY better!
Over the next decade, I coupled my professional marketing and writing skills with a lot of research on relationships and communication, and I never struggled with the dating apps again. Don’t get me wrong—I still got my fair share of creepy messages and unsuccessful matches, but I got a ton of attention from viable prospects as well! Most of my longest relationships started on the dating apps.
